The base is a ceramic serving dish from the 50's. It is topped with a resin dome that I sprayed with a texturized stone effect. The oak spindle comes from an antique banister from an abandoned house in Balaclava, Ontario Canada. I stained it with multiple layers of colours ranging from Copen Blue to Charred Forest Grey. Her metal topper is painted Mustard Yellow to blend with the over all theme.
The harp and socket is taken from an old candelabra style lamp that I purchased at an auction.
Her shade is a irregular dome that I wrapped in a Burnt Orange fabric and topped with a encrusted vintage lace, so when she is turned on she glows a strong warm hue in the room. I finished it off with an acorn finial that is painted the same tones as the spindle.
