Korra
In the dead of night, a walk in the garden is an experience like no other.

Fireflies dance and flicker near and far
The animals that sing in the dark play like a macabre symphony
Your sight adjusts slowly, making for a vintage filter to take hold
Crickets peep and are never seen
keeping your unease in check

You spot the rose you planted, a blood red rose. Her matted petals grab the moonlight to create a velvety texture. She is outlined perfectly, in the dark, even her perfume is unearthly. Lending notes from a woman that you passed by in the market the other day and obsessed over how it triggered a memory... one you still haven't placed.

This is a time that I captured in creating Korra.

I wanted something to resemble beauty and unease in perfect harmony, that is what the night is for me.
